I spend most mornings these days working on my laptop in coffee shops, all of which I’ve carefully ranked based on volume, table availability, and wifi strength. A good latte is nice, but it’s not an essential part of the equation.
This morning I needed to switch things up, so I grabbed a notebook and took myself on a tech-free date to Iris Cafe, whose somewhat pretentious “no computers” policy keeps me away most days.
I have to say, it was pretty nice. The sun was shining, the coffee was strong…
…and I only missed my computer a little bit. Just a little.
